Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI SaaS), Contract

Remote, NigeriaContractCloses 30 Nov 2026₦500,000 to ₦1,000,000 per month

We are hiring one senior engineer on contract to take three built products over the line: a React Native app for the App Store and Google Play (Firebase, Paystack subscriptions), a Next.js 15 SaaS on Supabase with Stripe billing and an LLM feature, and a Django API on AWS with a React front end. The code is written and the deployment guides exist. The work is merging, wiring, hardening, store submission and production launch, owned end to end by someone who has done each of these before.

What You Will Do

  • Mobile: merge the latest update into the existing React Native project, wire Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, security rules, App Check) and Paystack subscription plans and webhooks, test on real Android and iPhone hardware, and submit to both stores through review, including the Paystack web-checkout billing exemption
  • Web SaaS: finish the Next.js 15 App Router product on Supabase: Stripe subscription webhooks with an idempotency ledger, Row Level Security policies and triggers, the LLM feature over an OpenAI-compatible endpoint with structured output, then DNS, Vercel environments, Sentry and uptime checks
  • API: build the Docker image for the Django REST codebase, deploy it on AWS (ECS Fargate, ALB, RDS Postgres, ElastiCache, Secrets Manager, CloudFront, GitHub OIDC), register Stripe live webhooks, and build and connect the React front end
  • Fix what breaks in the last mile, write the tests that keep it fixed, and leave runbooks and documentation the team can operate from

What We Are Looking For

  • React Native, three or more years, with at least one app you personally shipped to both the App Store and Google Play (we check the listings); you know code signing, provisioning and how to argue a review guideline
  • Next.js 15 App Router in strict TypeScript: server components, route handlers, middleware, and the Supabase SSR cookie-session pattern
  • Python and Django REST in production, three or more years, and hands-on AWS beyond certificates: you can read an ECS task failure or a failing ALB health check and know what to do
  • Billing webhooks you have shipped before, on both Stripe (subscriptions, Customer Portal, signature verification) and Paystack (plans and webhooks, not a one-off button)
  • Firebase from the server side (Cloud Functions, rules, App Check) and Postgres with Row Level Security, ideally on Supabase; Docker you can debug, not just run
  • At least one SaaS you took from staging to paying customers on your own, and the habit of finishing: inherited code, clear communication, deadlines kept

How to Apply

Use the application form on this page. Answer the questions below in the "Answers" box, add links to your best work and a link to your CV, and send. It goes straight to the hiring team.

  1. Which apps have you personally published to the App Store and Google Play? Link the store listings and say what you owned on each.
  2. Link to a SaaS product you took from staging to paying customers, and your GitHub.
  3. In a Next.js App Router app, how does a server component read a cookie-based session? Describe the pattern you use with Supabase.
  4. Why do you grant access from the Stripe webhook and never from the success URL, and what is an idempotency ledger for?
  5. Describe an Apple review rejection you resolved, and a failing AWS deployment (ECS, ALB or RDS) you diagnosed.
  6. Your availability (start date, hours per week) and your expected monthly rate within ₦500,000 to ₦1,000,000, and why.

Links to a published mobile app (both store listings) and to a live web product you shipped, plus your GitHub, are required. Applications without them will not be considered for interview.

Rate ₦500,000 to ₦1,000,000 per month, depending on experience. Application deadline: 30 November 2026
